The Social Center is located in a peripheral area of the capital of Sergipe, where most of the residents live in an alarming situation of social abandonment. It is a flagrant reality in which many teenagers are already mothers and other young people are drug users. In this reality, many children come from families that need intervention and support from public policies aimed at overcoming the vulnerabilities and risks they face. The crime rate has dropped a lot, but many are hungry for bread and better conditions to overcome poverty.

These are some of the features affecting the Coqueiral neighborhood, where the Social Center has been doing excellent social impact work in the area for years, reducing social inequalities and empowering people in the region.

ASSISTANCE 2023: In 2023, the Aracaju Social Center served 131 children and adolescents in social, educational and community assistance activities.
