The Youth Hostel is located in the municipality of Arrazola, region of Biscay, 43 km from Bilbao.

Departing from Bilbao, take the motorway to Durango (A-8 towards San Sebastián) or the N – 634 road to Durango. Once in Durango, take the BI-632 towards Elorrio and exit at Apatamonasterio; pass through the village towards Arrazola. The Youth Hostel is located on the left, before arriving to the village of Arrazola. It is a typical basque country house with white façade, which can be seen from the road; you will have to turn left at a small path to enter.

The Youth Hostel holds 60 people. Facilities include heating and hot water at your disposal. On the ground floor, there is a big living room (with football table and ping pong), a small meeting room beside the kitchen and a big bathroom area including showers.

On the first floor, there are two dormitories equipped with bunks, one bedroom with four double bunks and three single bedrooms. There is also a complete bathroom, a big meeting room with TV/DVD and two store rooms.

On the second floor, passing through one of the bedrooms, you have access to the chapel for religious use exclusively. From the other bedroom, you reach a big meeting room and the terrace.

The Youth Hostel has big outdoor spaces, such as a football field and countryside around.

It is possible to go on trip to the Atxondo Valley. There are also public swimming pools within walking distance in the nearby village of Apatamonasterio.

You can rent the Youth Hostel completely and it is totally equipped. The minimum number of people to rent is 16 (for smaller groups the price increases). Renting to Educational Associations will be priority (that is schools, non-profit associations, parish church groups…)
