Cocapata school has a population of 300 students. It is located in a town with an altitude of 3.150 meters, 5 hours away from the closest city, Cochambamba. The roads are difficult to access during the rain period and sometimes they remain closed for weeks.
The poor communication system and the isolation make school attendance extremely difficult. However, some improvement works made since the arrival of the Piarist Fathers have facilitated the access to the school.
