It allowed us to know more about the ways in which the Piarist Schools foster an integral, accessible and quality education in hundreds of impoverished areas of the world. Remote areas which, just as in the Roman Trastevere back in Calasanz\u2019s time, are in need of educative services standing up for its\u2019 children\u2019s and youngsters\u2019 futures, many of whom live in poverty.<\/p>\n<p>This campaign encouraged us to observe and learn more about the Piarist educational reality as seen through the eyes of a child, especially of those who live in poor areas.\u00a0 During a whole school year we were introduced to the \u201ctrasteveres\u201d all over the world counting with Piarist Schools and forming part of Itaka-Escolapios\u2019 solidarity network.<\/p>\n<p>More than 20,000 boys and girls from 37 Spanish schools worked in their classrooms the value of education as a driving force of change and learned about the Piarist reality in some of the most disadvantaged places of the world. Thanks to this sensitizing effort, \u20ac176,210.91 were raised for the different educational projects carried out by the Itaka-Escolapios\u2019 solidarity network.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itakaescolapios.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/grafico-campa\u00f1a-solidaridad.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13469 aligncenter\" alt=\"grafico campa\u00f1a solidaridad\" src=\"https:\/\/www.itakaescolapios.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/grafico-campa\u00f1a-solidaridad.png\" width=\"497\" height=\"318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.itakaescolapios.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/grafico-campa\u00f1a-solidaridad.png 888w, https:\/\/www.itakaescolapios.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/grafico-campa\u00f1a-solidaridad-300x191.png 300w, https:\/\/www.itakaescolapios.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/grafico-campa\u00f1a-solidaridad-250x159.png 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <em>El descenso que se produce en el curso 2014-2015 se debe a que en la anterior campa\u00f1a se imput\u00f3 el importe\u00a0 recibido por el premio Norte y Sur, adem\u00e1s de \u00e9sto el dinero recaudado el pasado curso por uno de los colegios se destin\u00f3 a una de las ordenes religiosas con las que se comparte el centro escolar<\/em><\/p>\n<table width=\"3\" border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td dir=\"LTR\" width=\"119\" height=\"17\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the solidarity campaign of 2014-1015 we wanted to delve into the shaping force of education.
