\"Colored<\/a>Below we present a series of examples of activities to work in the classroom (they can also be carried out during out-of-school times). Their objective is to present the importance of education both as an element of personal change and social transformation.<\/p>\n

We have tried to make an appealing selection complementing the six principal activities of this campaign: \u201cThe ship of the Itaka-Escolapios Crew\u201d, \u201cThe clues game\u201d, \u201cThe great mural of the Asrama\u201d, \u201c The Tweet-Telegram\u201d, \u201cThe Tebe Dance Competition\u201d, and \u201cTogether with Atambua\u201d. 1st<\/sup><\/span> PRIMARY<\/span><\/td>\nGAMES AND DANCES<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nDuring this session we will get to know more about the social reality we are studying through a game and an Indonesian traditional dance. With it we will learn that our ways of life have similarities and differences. Some of them \u201cfair\u201d (such as the cultural ones), but also \u201cunfair\u201d (such as the economic ones.)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6 -7 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2nd<\/sup><\/span> PRIMARY<\/span><\/td>\nAND YOU? HOW DO YOU FEEL?<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nThis activity encourages the children to know more about their classmates, to learn about empathy and how our relationship with our friends\/classmates should be.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
7 – 8 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3rd<\/sup><\/span> PRIMARY<\/span><\/td>\nGIVE FLAVOUR TO YOUR FRIENDS\u2019 LIFE<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nWith this we will work on self-awareness, specially the gifts that can be put at the service of others.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
8 – 9 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4th<\/sup><\/span> PRIMARY<\/span><\/td>\nDECIPHERING INDONESIA<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nHere we will study the campaign through one of the characters, BLA, who knows many languages.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
9-10 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
5th<\/sup><\/span> PRIMARY\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\nBE A CHEF WITH SUKAL<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nThis exercise will allow the children to get acquainted with Indonesia\u2019s gastronomy and also develop their culinary skills with the help of their families.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
10-11 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6th <\/sup><\/span>PRIMARY<\/span><\/td>\nBUILDING TOGETHER<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nThrough this exercise, we want the children to feel part of the project and encourage all of them to help with the building of the Asrama (boarding school) in Atambua.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
11-12 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1st<\/sup><\/span> SECONDARY<\/span><\/td>\nON OUR WAY TO SCHOOL<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nThe goal of this activity is to make the pupils realise the importance of education and the obstacles that some children and youngsters have to face to go to school, particularly regarding Indonesia. That\u2019s the reason why building a boarding school in Atambua as the Piarist Order is doing is so important.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
12-13 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2nd <\/sup><\/span>SECONDARY<\/span><\/td>\nATAMB\u00daA & GO<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nThrough a game with the sailors from the Itaka-Escolapios Crew, we will introduce the Piarist project in Indonesia.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
13-14 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3rd<\/sup><\/span> SECONDARY<\/span><\/td>\nPRESENT YOUR CAMPAIGN<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nFor this activity, the pupils will have to help raise awareness in the rest of the school by making videos about the different campaign\u2019s activities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
14-15 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4th <\/sup><\/span>SECONDARY<\/span><\/td>\nGETTING CLOSE<\/span><\/td>\nThis exercise invites the pupils to reflect about the campaign and in which ways they could help, to let them know that anything they do is to the benefit of the Piarist project in Atambua.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
15-16 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
