The activity ends by growing some tomato seeds in class and taking care of them until they bear fruit.<\/p>\n<p>This activity embodies the reality of nutrition in DR Congo, a poor country that is in 176th place of the 188 countries on the UN\u2019s 2017 Human Development Index. This HDI shows that 87.7% of the population live under poverty line (on less than US$1.25 per day) and with immense inequality in terms of opportunity, in spite of the country&#8217;s wealth and diversity.
