The Calasanz-León Cultural Center is part of the Piarist mission, within the non-formal education program, thus providing an alternative to the education given in schools. Academic disciplines are reinforced and values are transmitted through art and directed play.
The main activity is the daily school reinforcement from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm for children from 1st to 6th grade of primary school from public and private schools. Complementary, cultural, sports and artistic activities are also programmed. For this purpose, the Center has a toy library, a playroom, several classrooms for academic instruction, and recreational spaces.
The center also has a group of volunteers who collaborate in the planning of recreational activities, camps, movie afternoons and also in helping the children with their homework.
