On a visit to Gábon, Fr. Pierre Diatta, Assistant General for Africa, had the opportunity to visit our school “Complexe Joseph Calasanz” in Malibé, on the suburb of Libreville.
The school started a little over two years ago with only 19 students, and today 102 kids are coming to their classrooms. Frs. Evaristus Akem (Provincial of the Central Africa) and Emilio Calcena (Provincial Assistant) are also sharing the visit with Fr. Pierre Diatta.
Father Cornelius is the director of this school that is taking interesting steps with the help of the Itaka-Escolapios Network, which plays a fundamental role in the development of this initiative very necessary in this area.
