A BIT OF HISTORY
Itaka-Escolapios is an international network, created and supported by the Order and the Fraternity of the Pious Schools, consolidated and with local roots, integrated in the life and mission of the Demarcations and Fraternities of the Pious Schools, promoter of the Piarist Christian Community and of its evangelizing, educational and social work, updating the steps of St. Joseph Calasanz.
We are committed to the education of the most disadvantaged people as the best way to transform the world and prepare a better tomorrow, making the new generations contribute with responsibility the best of themselves.
We believe that it is possible to make a world as God intended and that only in this attempt does life take on its full meaning. Our path is education, the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus and the commitment to solidarity in our environment, involving our whole life.

FOR THE PROTECTION AND CARE OF MINORS
Itaka-Escolapios, in accordance with its identity and foundational aims, assists, educates and accompanies numerous children and teenagers through various projects. The Calasanz Movement, school reinforcement programmes, homes, socio-educational activities in free time… are examples of projects through which we develop the mission of Itaka-Escolapios with children and adolescents. We take on this task with total responsibility and, as is proper to our foundational identity and our charisma, we place the child or teenager at the centre of our social and educational action.
