IMPROVE THE RESILIENCE OF PEOPLE TO FACE THE CRISES AND GUARANTEE FOOD SECURITY FOR 1212 FAMILIES BOTH DISPLACED AND HOST POPULATION WHO ARE PART OF THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY IN THE THREE (03) PIOUS SCHOOLS (PIARIST FATHERS) IN BAMENDA
As part of the humanitarian project in Piarist schools in Cameroon, the sensitization of the young girl on her menstrual hygiene took place in Bamenda in the North-West region. It was a question here of giving advice to the young girl concerning her periods, how to count her cycle, what is the menstrual cycle, what is menstruation, How to manage menstruation and be hygienic during menstruation and at any time. Also we talked about the types of sanitary products to use which are healthy. We also talked about how to get rid of used pads, pain during menstruation, and home remedies to relieve it. At the end of this session, we also donated sanitary napkins to the young girls and they participated in the donation of tampons.
Delighted, the women and girls present returned home filled with sanitary napkins and advice received during the awareness campaign.
