THE SCHOOL GARDEN AT THE SAINT JOSEPH CALASANZ KINDERGARTEN IN ABOBO YAOUNDE (Cameroon)

This Wednesday, February 15, 2023, was held at the Saint Joseph Calasanz Nursery School in Abobo Yaoundé (Cameroon), the first edition of the school garden with the teachers, students and Piarist volunteers from Yaoundé. During the session, the volunteers cultivated 4 small plots, and together with the children, they sowed corn, pistachio and tomato seeds. They then put the droppings and watered the fields. They will continue the upkeep of the garden by watering and checking the vegetable patch. The children were happy, and together with the teachers, they were receptive to the transmission of knowledge from the Piarist volunteers.
