Between March 12 and 25, three people from the Piarist Province of USA-Puerto Rico (which includes Cuba) have made a visit to various parts of Spain to learn more about Itaka-Escolapios and its projects. These meetings are part of the recent adhesion of the USA-PR Province to the Itaka-Escolapios Network, from which we are already sharing mission in Cuba and exploring new ways of collaboration with this demarcation.

Specifically, Daniel Cruz and Maureen Herrera from Cuba, and Kevin Owens from the United States have participated in the visit, who have been able to know in these two weeks several presences of Emmaus (Bilbao, Pamplona, Vitoria, Zaragoza and Peralta de la Sal), sharing with the teams, people participating in the projects, young people, religious, members of the Fraternity…

The balance of these days is really positive, not only for what Daniel, Maureen and Kevin have been able to see of Itaka-Escolapios on the field, but also for the opportunity to know them and, through them, the precious reality of Cuba and the whole of its province, with all its diversity and challenges. Thank you, Daniel, Maureen and Kevin, for these days of encounter. We keep on walking together!
