Between May 9 and 17, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Network visited India and met with those responsible for Itaka-Escolapios in this country. The visit began in Kamda, to make direct contact with the current reality of this Piarist presence and the school expansion project, a major priority. Then, in Aroor, a meeting was held with those responsible for the Piarist demarcation of India, which served to share the current situation, the forecasts for the new academic year 23-24 and to agree on next steps. Afterwards, they were in Aryanad, visiting the school and meeting with the Piarist community, and finally in Kanyakumari.
They have been intense and useful days to deepen the path that we share as Itaka-Escolapios in India, which will surely bear fruit in the near future. From the Itaka-Escolapios Network we thank the Piarist Fathers of India for their welcome during these days, as well as their dedication to the Piarist mission.
