An interesting meeting between the Piarist Province of Asia-Pacific and the Executive Committee of the Network took place on July 7, with the participation of Fr. Provincial Miguel Artola and Efren Mundoc, coordinator of Itaka-Escolapios in the Philippines, as well as several members of the Executive Committee. The meeting reviewed the various aspects of the mission that Itaka-Escolapios shares in this province, specifically in the Philippines, which includes areas such as the Calasanz Movement, awareness and volunteering, reflecting together on how to promote them in the new four-year period that is beginning. Formation was also a prominent theme of the meeting, where some training needs were raised and possibilities of working together with the Network were explored. All this will be concretised in the new annual plan of Itaka-Escolapios in the Philippines for 2023-24, which will include the objectives for the year and the teams in charge of carrying them forward. In conclusion, the meeting served to check all the progress made so far and also to identify the next steps for Itaka-Escolapios in the Philippines.
