Celebration of International Women’s Rights Day in Cameroon
Last Friday, March 8, 2024, was celebrated the 33rd edition of International Women’s Rights Day under the theme: “Investing in women: accelerating the pace”. In Cameroon, women from Pies schools marked the day with seminars, conferences, masses and sports activities. At the Ecole Bilingue Saint Joseph Calasanz in Abobo (Yaoundé), women attended a conference on their rights, and a training seminar on beauty tips. In Bafia, the COSCABIC teachers kicked off with a sports walk, followed by a mass and a round-table discussion on the year’s theme. All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony for all concerned.
