TEBE DANCE COMPETITION
Which is the traditional dance of your region? The aurresku, the bikutsi, the bafut, the cueca, the diablada, the jota, the sevillanas…
In Atambua, the town in which the Piarist Order is going to build the Asrama, boys and girls dance the TEBE. It’s a traditional dance from Timor, the island in which Atambua is located.
With this activity, the Itaka-Escolapios Crew invites you to participate in the 1st International Tebe Dance Competition. You will find two links to two different videos showing the dance. One of them is performed by the boys and girls who attend the Itaka-Escolapios’ non-formal educational activities in Atambua and other by an Indonesian group.
Learn and rehearse the choreography with your classmates and send us a link to the video if you upload it to an online platform, or a file with the video with which you will participate in the competition.
