TWEET-TELEGRAM

Bla is the telegraphist of the Itaka crew, her mission is communicating and spreading the news of everything that happens in the vessel. For example, if a ship is getting near, if there’s a storm coming, sending SOS messages, sending telegrams to the crew’s families so they know they are alright, etc.

For this activity, we want the families to get involved so BLA can fulfil her duty. In order to do so, we will create the Tweet-Telegrams.

As we all know, telegrams are a short text message that is rapidly transmitted through a code. It was used to communicate important information with only a few words.

Nowadays, Tweets are the modern version of the telegram. We will create the Tweet-telegrams by joining past and present, by joining the parents’ and children’s respective generations.
