With the vision of offering new educational opportunities, Itaka-Escolapios opened its first office in Venezuela in 2009, specifically in Barquisimeto. In the El Trompillo neighborhood, Itaka-Escolapios launched an ambitious project: the construction of a high school that would become a beacon of hope for young people in the area. Thanks to this initiative, hundreds of students have been able to complete their high school studies and have access to a more promising future. Today, with five graduating classes and the generation of employment locally and in neighboring sectors, the El Trompillo high school is consolidating its position as an engine of development for the community.
In 2010 and 2011, offices were added in Carora and Valencia to promote non-formal education and to be a means of participation within the Pious Schools in each place, encouraging the integration of fraternities and religious to transform realities. In 2015, an office was opened in Caracas and in 2024 an office was opened in Maracaibo, for a total of 5 offices in Venezuela.
