From Itaka-escolapios Albacete we work to enrich the educational offer of the school Escuelas Pías through non-formal education projects aimed at school students with more educational needs and less economic resources. For these students in primary school we develop the project “Trastevere”, a school review and free time, while for secondary school students we open the “Study Classroom”, a space that students can use to work in groups or individually.
The volunteers who carry out these projects are teachers from the school, former students linked to the Calasanz Movement and students from the last years of Secondary and Vocational Training.

From the area of Awareness we collaborate with the Department of Social Transformation of the Escuelas Pías School for the dynamization of the awareness campaigns, especially in two moments of the course:
- In the last weeks of November, awareness begins with the activity of the Solidarity Raffle.
- At the end of the school year, the campaign activities conclude with the Solidarity Party in favor of Itaka-escolapios.

From the volunteering area we accompany the training processes of the volunteers of our projects (Voluntariado Escolapio Social), and we propose and stimulate the following experiences for the young people of our presence:

- Pescab Project, developed jointly with Cáritas Juventud, for students in 3rd and 4th ESO.
- Work camp, in Madrid or Valencia, for young people from 2nd year of high school.
- Salt Project, for young people from 23 years of age.
