Itaka Escolapios and the Church's Social Action Network: United to Build Peace and Hope
Since 2021, the Itaka Escolapios Foundation has been an active member of the Red de Acción Social de la Iglesia venezolana (RASI)—the Venezuelan Church's Social Action Network—a vital platform that brings together various Catholic organizations to highlight the social and humanitarian work carried out by the Church in the country. Our participation in this network is key to strengthening synergies and amplifying the impact of our mission in Venezuela.
Last weekend, November 14 and 15, 2025, Itaka Escolapios was present at two important national gatherings promoted by RASI, focusing on building peace and restoring hope, inspired by the exemplary lives of Saint José Gregorio Hernández and Saint Carmen Rendiles.
Both gatherings centered on the fundamental pillars of our mission: Life, Health, and Education, as essential tools for the recovery of hope in the current context.
Friday, November 14 – Barquisimeto: We participated in the regional meeting "Constructors of Peace" (Constructores de Paz). A space for dialogue and training to articulate strategies that promote coexistence and local development.
Saturday, November 15 – Caracas: We were present at the "Jubilee of Hope" (Jubileo de la Esperanza). A day of national gathering that reaffirms the commitment of the Church and its organizations to the future of Venezuela.
Together with other RASI organizations, we continue to cultivate hope, build peace, and work tirelessly for the well-being of Venezuelan communities.
