Itaka-Escolapios is an international network created by the Order and the Fraternity of the Pious Schools. It is integrated into the life and mission of the Demarcations and Fraternities of the Pious Schools and promotes the Escolapios Christian Community and its evangelizing, educational, and social work.

The Itaka Escolapios headquarters in Jaca is a space for encounter, commitment, and social transformation, where volunteering is the driving force behind every project. Inspired by the legacy of Saint Joseph Calasanz, we work for a holistic education that especially reaches those most in need.

At the Escolapios School of Jaca, we are committed to the education of the most disadvantaged as the best way to transform the world and build a better tomorrow. One of our most significant projects is Trastévere, a tutoring program that offers academic and personal support to children with learning difficulties or in vulnerable situations. Thanks to the dedication of a team of volunteers, this project not only improves school performance but also builds positive role models and spaces of trust.

Volunteering and education for social transformation are always cross-cutting themes in our work and projects. Through the Calasanz Movement groups, we promote transformative volunteering that helps young people grow in values, faith, and social commitment. Through educational, recreational, and service activities, we cultivate a living community that strives for a more just and fraternal world.
