March 2, 2024 marked a memorable day for the community of Malibé, as the long-awaited event, Choralie, took place for the first time in this location under the auspices of the inspiring theme “Ma Place avec Calasanz pour la Préservation de l’Écosystème”. This inter-school singing competition brought together talented youngsters from different schools, all driven by a shared passion for music and a commitment to the environment.
This seventh edition of Choralie was a veritable festival of voices in harmony, highlighting the creativity, dedication and talent of the participants. Students competed in vibrant performances, expressing through their songs powerful messages about protecting our ecosystem and the importance of preserving our planet for future generations.
The theme “My Place with Calasanz for Ecosystem Preservation” was carefully chosen to reflect the participating schools’ commitment to the ideals of Saint Joseph Calasanz, founder of the Piarist Order, and their shared desire to play an active role in preserving our fragile environment.
Among the participating schools, the Lycée Monseigneur Bessieux stood out for its outstanding performance, captivating audience and judges alike with their inspiring interpretation of the theme. Their perfect harmony, infectious energy and commitment to the environmental cause were praised by all.
