Official Launch of the Calasanz Movement at Saint Joseph Calasanz School Complex in Kinshasa

On May 30, 2025, the official launch of the Calasanz Movement took place at the Saint Joseph Calasanz School Complex in Kinshasa.
The event began with a Mass presided over by Reverend Father Serge Akoumou, chaplain and head of pastoral care. During the Mass, two key moments took place:
The first was the presentation of scarves to the monitors. This stage helped all the monitors understand the meaning of the Calasanz Movement’s logo, represented by intertwined lines moving toward Jesus Christ.
After the scarf presentation and the explanation of the logo, the second stage was the reading of the commitment.
The purpose of these two stages was to establish a Piarist identity and offer pastoral support to those in need within our educational community.
