Training of the staff of Saint Joseph Calasanz School Complex in Kinshasa
On Thursday, February 12, 2026, a staff training session was held at Saint Joseph Calasanz School Complex in Kinshasa. The day was marked by two training modules. The first module was conducted online via videoconference and was led by Reverend Father Adalbert FOUDA, Coordinator of the Itaka-Escolapios Foundation DRC, together with Rosa GALLEGO from Spain. The second part was led by Reverend Father Lessly.
In the first part, both speakers presented the international Itaka-Escolapios network, which is a shared Piarist mission.
The objective of this first part was to give the staff a clear understanding of the Itaka-Escolapios Foundation, how it was founded, and to present some examples of the common mission shared by the Itaka-Escolapios Foundation and the Piarists from the perspective of Piarist pastoral work, Christian communities, Piarist missionary works, experiences of collaboration, and the history of the shared journey within the Pious Schools.
The second part of the training, led by Reverend Father Lessly ABANG, had as its main objective to guide the staff in preparing activities for the Calasanz Movement.
