The 29th Caminhada brings together hundreds of people in Pamplona around our campaign25 Years of Putting Down Roots

07-04-2026

On behalf of Itaka-Escolapios Pamplona - Iruña, we would like to express our gratitude for the warm reception given to the 29th Caminhada, held this past Saturday, March 28, in Pamplona—an event that once again highlighted the power of solidarity and shared commitment. It’s not just a celebration: it’s a month during which the entire Piarist community in Pamplona gets involved in the solidarity campaign in various ways, through awareness-raising activities, organizing fundraising initiatives, and preparing the Caminhada as a festive conclusion to the month.

We carry out this solidarity campaign through Itaka-Escolapios in collaboration with the Calasanz-Escolapios and La Compasión-Escolapios schools. This year, under the slogan “25 Years of Putting Down Roots,” we celebrated a quarter-century of working together to promote educational, social, and international cooperation projects.

On that day, the celebration took place at each school, and we all gathered for the main event, where we shared the campaign’s manifesto, recalling the importance of continuing to build a more just and committed society. Throughout the day, hundreds of peoplestudents, families, teachers, and members of the publicparticipated in the march and the various organized activities, creating a festive, participatory, and meaningful atmosphere.

As every year, it is clear that the Caminhada is a space for gathering, raising awareness, and commitment that reflects the values that drive us as a network. The response we received this year reinforces our conviction that, together, we continue to build a better world.

We would like to thank everyone who participated, collaborated, and made this day possible. The campaign remains open, and we encourage the entire community to continue getting involved and spreading the message of “25 years putting down roots.”

We continue walking together.
