Finalist Works from the “Art for Peace” Project
05-10-2026
The “Art for Peace” Project, carried out at the Piarist schools in Bamendjou, Bandjoun, Bamenda, and Yaoundé, Cameroon, with the support of the City Council of Jaca, has come to a close with an exhibition of works created by the students at these schools.
The goal was to use artistic expression as a means to promote dialogue, tolerance, creativity, and peaceful coexistence within educational communities in a country like Cameroon, which has been grappling with an invisible conflict for 10 years—a conflict that has claimed lives and forced the displacement of many people and families.
Here are some of the finalist works from this project, which reaffirms our commitment to peace.
