Lezana hostel

The hostel is located in the municipality of Lezana de Mena, province of Burgos, 54 km from Bilbao.

To get there from Bilbao, take the BI-636 toward Balmaseda. After about 30 km, continue on the C-6318, passing through El Berrón, Cayuela, and Santecilla. Shortly after, you’ll see a small roundabout that takes you, turning left, to Lezana de Mena. The hostel is just a few meters from the town square.

It can also be reached by public transport with Alsa buses.

The hostel has a capacity of 70 people. It has heating and hot water. The property consists of two houses connected by a small outdoor patio.

The first house (on the left) has a game room on the ground floor (foosball, ping pong table, board games, etc.) and two bathrooms. On the upper floor, there is a chapel for exclusively religious use.

The second house (on the right) has 3 floors: on the ground floor there is the main dining room, the kitchen with a storage room, and bathrooms. On the first floor there are three rooms with four bunk beds each, one room with two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine, a small kitchen, and a meeting room. On the second floor there are two large rooms and two bathroom areas with showers.

Outside, the hostel has large recreation areas, a soccer field, and a green area.

There are possibilities for excursions around the Mena Valley, Sopeñano, and the Sanctuary of Cantonad. The nearest shopping area is in Villasana de Mena, where you can also find public swimming pools.

The house can be rented as a whole and is fully equipped. A minimum of 16 people is required for rental; for smaller groups, the price is higher. Priority in reservations is given to schools, ikastolas, parishes, youth clubs, and associations with a primarily educational background.
No cook service is provided.
