Saturday, 18th September 2021, our three different primary schools in Bamenda were shared in their respective distribution sites with that of C.S Futru having a greater population. With the help of the local and focal links, the distribution was done following the established list for the beneficiaries from the various schools.
Prior to the distribution phase 2, the various commissions created for the distribution phase were in place and did prepare the various materials necessary for the exercise. During this phase, the working team and parents respected the covid-19 measures to reduce the spread of the virus and while the work was being done, interviews were carried out with the parent and the working team by the communication commission.
Each of the mentioned schools succeeded in distributing 90% of the expected population on the first day of sharing. During distribution phase 2, we faced many problems which started with late coming by the parents and made the day longer and heavier. Those working with C.S Futru had difficulties from impatient, grumbling and noisy parents due to the large population of pupils in the school.
Majority of the parents returned satisfied and happy, commenting positively on the work which was done.
