13-02-2026

On Friday, February 6, a new meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Itaka-Escolapios Foundation was held by videoconference, with the participation of all its members and accompanied by representatives of the Executive Committee to discuss various issues.

After the welcome and prayer led by the president, the general coordinator presented the latest developments from the past few months, adding a special mention of the situation in Mozambique and Venezuela thanks to the trustees present in these countries.

Next, after a detailed presentation by the resource management coordinator, the 2024-25 financial statements were submitted for approval along with the annual accounts for that fiscal year. These accounts and the corresponding audit report are now available in the transparency section of our website: https://www.itakaescolapios.org/en/quienes-somos/#d

The Board then engaged in a preparatory reflection on an important meeting to be held soon in Rome with the General Congregation of the Order and the General Council of the Fraternity.

Finally, the Board of Trustees approved the initiation of a process to update the founding statutes so that the activities included therein better reflect the wide diversity of programs and projects currently promoted by Itaka-Escolapios.

In short, it was a meeting with a lot of content, which served to reflect on progress and agree on new steps and lines of work from this important governing team of the Itaka-Escolapios group.
