The last SAL meeting informs volunteers of their destination country for this summer.

This weekend we met at Cristo Rey School (Zaragoza) to continue our journey with the SAL Project 🌍: a two-year program of formation, accompaniment, and experience in a Piarist presence in the South, sharing life, mission, and faith in community.

It has been a couple of days of prayer, fellowship, and formation, deepening our understanding of the Piarist mission today, community life, and the practical aspects of the journey. And, in a very special way, we have been able to glimpse the reality of the destination countries (through connections and dialogue) to listen, ask questions, and begin to prepare our hearts and hands for what is to come.

Destinations of the SAL volunteers for this summer:

• Mexico: Francisco Jiménez (Albacete), Luz Burgos (Madrid), and Leyre Cunchillos (Pamplona).
• Venezuela: Adriana Felipe (Albacete), María Hurtado (Granada), Aroa Pérez (Vitoria).
• Peru: Mercedes Moreno de Vega (Salamanca) · María Toraño (Madrid), Ana Márquez (Seville).
• Guatemala: Miriam Márquez (Seville), Laura González (Santander), Rocío Guí (Valencia).
• Bolivia: Carol Martínez (Valencia), Carlota Armendariz (Pamplona), Nacho Colás (Zaragoza).
