First day of the reflection meeting on the Itaka-Escolapios network

On March 5 and 6, a meeting of the main driving forces behind the Itaka-Escolapios Network is taking place in Rome. The General Congregation and the General Council of the Fraternity have met with the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of Itaka-Escolapios to reflect on the role of the Network within the Pious Schools and the Fraternity as a whole.

Yesterday, the first day of the meeting, featured three reflections by Fr. Carles Gil, General of the Order, on behalf of the General Congregation; Fr. Emmanuel Suárez, on behalf of the General Council of the Fraternity; and Fr. Juan Alfonzo Serra, as president of the Network. These reflections guided and inspired a dialogue and deeper understanding of the current situation, the progress and challenges of the Itaka-Escolapios Network, a platform for the shared institutional mission of the Order and the Fraternity in which 11 Piarist demarcations participate.

This meeting, which brings together a total of 19 people at the General House in Rome, takes place within the framework of the 25th anniversary of Itaka-Escolapios that we are celebrating this year, an anniversary that will be reached on March 9.
