The training department of the Itaka-Escolapios network organizes an annual online training meeting, which this year brought together people from various Piarist districts to reflect on the transformative nature of our educational and evangelizing work.
Last Thursday, the network’s communication team organized a training session to showcase the changes made to the website and, above all, the importance of communication in all our actions.
On October 16 and 17, the Project Management and Fundraising Team of the Itaka-Escolapios network met in Bilbao. The meeting was attended by Jon Sustatxa, Pedro Landim, Pedro Marañón, and Paz Suñer, members of the team.
This weekend, the Casa de Espiritualidad Santa Teresa – Escolapios Emaús in Zaragoza hosted a meeting of young people who recently traveled to Bolivia and Venezuela to share the Piarist life and mission there.
The Itaka-Escolapios network has received a new donation of just over €25,000 from Veolia – Giroa, the company responsible for maintaining boilers, heating, and other services at the Escolapios Schools in the Province of Emmaus.
Over the past week, the Executive Commission of the Itaka-Escolapios Network continued its visit through different presences and projects in the United States and Cuba.
Since September 18, a delegation from the Network’s Executive Committee has been visiting Piarist presences in the United States and Cuba. The aim is to deepen the shared journey begun a few years ago by the Province of USA-PR and the Itaka-Escolapios Network, growing in mutual understanding and collaboration between the two. The Provincial Superior and those responsible for the development office are also participating in this program.
This Saturday, July 26, 2025, the final session of the five video meetings of the institutional advanced course of Itaka-Escolapios took place.
