Wednesday, August 20, 2014, the Nazareth center received an IFAD-PADFA joint delegation heard International Fund for Agricultural Development and Agricultural Development Pathway Program; having at its head Bernard Mwinyel Hien, IFAD Country Portfolio Representative for Cameroon-Gabon.
The visit began with an exchange in which the Director, Father Kizito presented the Nazareth center, its history, its training, partnerships, its various production units, its potential, its human and material resources.
Then IFAD Representative to focus on the capacity of the Nazareth center, its educational background, the profile of students trained, and finally the difficulties faced by those students during and after their training.
Great was our joy to know that the center Nazareth was chosen to benefit from the implementation of the youth program which is at its second stage, with the objective of learning for young people cultivating rice and onion; in order to ensure real social and professional integration of young people in the agricultural sector in Cameroon.
A tour of the premises was carried out in the various units that make up the Nazareth center; followed by a snack and a family picture before a friendly separation from the host brand.
Appointment has been made for the coming weeks.
Mercredi 20 août 2014, le Nazareth center a reçu dans ses locaux une délégation conjointe FIDA-PADFA, entendu Fond International pour le Développement Agricole et Programme Développement de la Filière Agricole; ayant à sa tète Monsieur Bernard Mwinyel Hien, Représentant FIDA chargé du portefeuille pays Cameroun-Gabon.
Cette visite a débuté par un échange au cours duquel le Directeur, Père Kisito a présenté le Nazareth center, son historique, son offre de formation, ses partenariats, ses différentes unités de production, son potentiel, ses ressources humaines et matérielles.
Quitte ensuite au Représentant FIDA de s’intéresser à la capacité d’accueil du Nazareth centre, son cursus de formation, le profil des étudiants formés, et enfin les difficultés rencontrées par ces étudiants pendant et après leur formation.
Grande a été notre joie de savoir que le Nazareth center a été choisi pour bénéficier de l’implémentation du programme jeunesse qui est à sa deuxième phase et dont l’objectif est l’apprentissage aux jeunes de la culture du riz et de l’oignon; ceci dans le but de garantir une insertion socioprofessionnelle véritable de ces jeunes dans le secteur agricole du Cameroun.
Un tour des lieux a été effectué dans les différentes unités que compte le Nazareth center; suivie d’un casse-croûte et une photo de famille avant une séparation cordiale de la part de ces hôtes de marques.
Rendez-vous a été pris pour les semaines à venir.
