Meeting of Itaka-Escolapios Chapters in the Province of Betania

Over the weekend, we held a wonderful gathering at our Piarist house of Santa Teresa (Zaragoza), attended by members of the local teams from Albacete, Gandía, Madrid, and Valencia, along with the Itaka-Escolapios Provincial Team.

The gathering was centered on prayer, dialogue, and listening, and during our joint reflection, we were able to address key topics for this academic year. These included the Itaka-Escolapios Bethany Annual Plan, the four-year evaluation, the Provincial Chapter, and the upcoming canonical visit by the Father General.

In addition to our work, we were able to enjoy the hospitality of our sister province of Emmaus at the Santa Teresa community, the Mass at the Pious Schools in Zaragoza, and a special celebration of the 25th anniversary of Itaka-Escolapios together with leaders from the Emmaus offices.

With clear guidelines and new ideas, all attendees returned feeling inspired to promote the Piarist WAY OF LIFE in the works and projects of Itaka-Escolapios, so that we may continue to be the Good News in today’s society.
