We have received news from the Saint Joseph de Calasanz school complex. Located in the Manenga neighborhood, in the commune of Ngaliema, west of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this recently built center has implemented a rainwater harvesting system to manage stormwater.

On March 25, 2025, Reverend Father Adalbert Fouda, head of the Itaka-DRC Foundation, conducted an awareness campaign among all the students of the Saint Joseph Calasanz school complex. The objective of this sensitization was to convey the message and explain to the pupils the meaning of this solidarity campaign in simpler and easier words, adapted to the children’s understanding.
